We walk in local areas during the week, but on Sundays we travel to these superb locations which are within a few hours of travel of the Wirral Peninsula. Details of these walks are shown via the links at the bottom of each page of this website
SNOWDONIA

Liberating open moorland - outstanding natural beauty and dramatic scenery - extensive limestone pavements - some of Britain's rarest habitats - a haven for walkers, climbers and botanists
PEAK DISTRICT
The upland wilderness of the Dark Peak - the Kinder gritstone-based high moorland plateau - old paths and packhorse tracks - bleak and barren bog - the gentler, but no less spectacular, White Peak
LAKE DISTRICT
England's largest lake, its deepest lake, its highest mountain and its tallest waterfall - the landscape a mixture of lakes and streams, low and high fells, woodland and dairy pasture
